My Story

I love (I’m obsessed!) makeup, skincare and anything beauty related. But I’m well aware the beauty industry can feel overwhelming to many people with countless trends, products, and people promoting every product you could think of. Like myself, I’m sure you’ve also been beauty shopping and got sucked into buying all the latest products advertised on Instagram and TikTok, then found you only use it once or twice before it goes off or the actual product itself just isn’t right for you. Well, I’m here to simplify it for you and take it back to creating stunning beauty looks.

Makeup has not only been my career but my passion for 12+ years. I first started developing an understanding of my skills in makeup and knowledge of products at MAC Cosmetics where I worked with every skin tone, age, skin concern and every makeup style you can think of. During 2020 I transitioned to a self-employed Makeup artist creating looks across the UK for my clients from Bridal to Evening makeup to Fashion Campaigns.

Being able to explore other brands has allowed me to invest some staple brands into my kit, Makeup By Mario, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury and Tom Ford to name a few. I feel it's extremely important to love every product your working with so over several weeks I test the products that go into my kit, I want to know if the products do what they claim and if they have staying power for my customers to enjoy for the entire evening.

So you now have an understanding of my love for the beauty industry but what about artistry? Creating modern looks and making people feel beautiful is what I love and where I thrive. Throughout my years of artistry, I’ve developed my signature style which focuses on pulling out a person’s natural glow, making someone look vibrant and sexy. Whenever a client books me for a special occasion nine times out of ten the first thing they say is ‘I want that glowy skin look you do’. I tend to stay away from changing makeup trends with my clients unless requested as I want my customers to look back at their pictures from their special occasions or a campaign for years to come and still feel like their makeup is relevant to present beauty.

I wanted this website to not only be a booking service for my customers to get in touch with their booking needs but, also a hub for makeup and skincare, sharing knowledge for fellow beauty fiends without having to book a particular service. I will only speak on products I’ve used or products that are in my kit that I use on my customers frequently. I do not claim to be a specialist but working within the industry for over 12 years has given me a vast knowledge of how products react and sit on the skin with not only mine but many different skin types. I’m here to simply share my views in an understandable and relatable way.
